Global Voices provides conference and trade show interpreters in over 150 languages. Specialists in the corporate and public sectors, we offer face to face, telephone and video interpretation for meetings, shows, events and conferences worldwide.
What type of conference interpreters are available?
With the many trade shows throughout Switzerland – from educational to technical – conference interpretation is our most requested form of face to face interpretation in all industries. It ensures that your audience and attendees understand the speakers and each other in as many languages as you require.
The team of conference interpreters work with the two main types of face to face interpretation: Simultaneous interpretation, which is carried out at the same time as the speaker, and consecutive interpretation, where the interpreter will translate when the speaker pauses.
In the majority of situations, the simultaneous interpreter will be in a soundproof booth in sight of the speaker and connected via headsets to the relevant members of the audience. We select the most experienced and qualified interpreters, who are experienced in working with this non-intrusive technology to guarantee professionalism, accuracy and the success of your event.
A consecutive interpreter will translate manageable portions of a speech at a time. This form of interpretation is the ideal solution for B2B (business to business) meetings and negotiations.
Trusted By
Simultaneous interpretation for your conference
Many high-profile international conferences, such as the United Nations General Assembly, and international trade shows, such as The Geneva International Motor Show, use simultaneous interpretation services. Global Voices can provide the solution for events of any size in any language, with your audience listening to your voice via headsets in real time. Simultaneous interpretation is also ideal for product launches, presentations and corporate conferences.
We can arrange a team to cater for multiple languages at your event and recommend two alternating interpreters per language combination to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.
We recommend consecutive translation for smaller meetings, in which few participants speak the main language.
Our Quality
Our conference interpreters all have at least five years’ experience, and are experts in their sector. You can be sure when you request conference interpretation services from Global Voices that you will receive accurate, professional service.
